Lynn Knickrehm-Fisher is the founder of Boise Hoopla and she is a licensed HoopGirl teacher.

She first started "hula hooping" for fun in the Summer of 1998 with a small plastic hoop. Later at a concert, Lynn saw a woman "hoop dancing" with a big, flashy Hoop all over her body. Inspired to learn, Lynn searched for a Hoop instructor and found one in Portland, Oregon. Frequently traveling 430 miles to take Hoop classes, Lynn was eventually certified as a licensed HoopGirl instructor.

Today, Lynn shares her knowledge in Hoop classes with students, and she also performs and Hoops during her spare time. She performs with the Red Light Variety Show, the Fire Kittens, and Boise Hoopla, and has been featured in Health magazine and Christabel Zamor's book "Hooping: A Revolutionary Fitness Program." She is dedicated to bringing positive expression through the Hoop.
