Joanne has been fascinated by movement from the moment she could climb her parents’ furniture. She discovered pole and the aerial arts in 2010 and hasn’t stopped spinning and flipping her world upside down. Although initially terrified to be onstage, she has grown to love the uniqueness of each live show and enjoys collaborating with other artists, connecting with the audience, and the process of creating and breathing life into new characters. She can be seen performing on the pole, lyra, aerial cube, aerial straps and in partner acrobatics. Joanne is grateful for the many teachers whose lessons challenge her to move, grow, and think outside the box.
